wad other requirement other den batt type? budget, runtime, size?

Jetbeam for tiny, bright, multimode, programmeable lights.

Maglite LED for focusable beam, decent runtime (Mag 2AA about 3hr+ to 50% output)

LED Lenser for focusable beam like Mag, but design diff.

As a beginner that have not buy any torch which of the above you will recomend for me
to buy regardless of size & runtime.
Thank for your help

You can consider Fenix E01 for a start, SGD20, so it is quite economical.

About SGD $100.00 per torch thank.

u getting a few? kidding...

choice 1:
Gerber Infinity Ultra about $40.

(if bright is ur thing, this light will disappoint)

choice 2:
Fenix LD01
. i dunno the price...

choice 3:
LED Lenser P5
. cooler version of Maglite in 1AA form

previously models not highly rated due to marketing hype, but i had 1 of their lights that outshine a supposedly better light, the Pelican 2390.

like to add that i am very particular about click switches, never a fan of reverse clickies. owned both. :embrass:

forward click- in 'off' position, press halfway for momentary on
reverse click- in 'off' position, click to constant 'on', then press halfway for momentary 'on'

yo cateye, dun think u remember me but i bought a 9 LED torchlight from u before. we met at the MRT gate. LOL

Fwah I can't afford an Invictus, good for u. Next time you must join us for gathering.
400 lumens is bright but because its LED, its gonna produce a lot of spill light and not much throw.

unless u have good reflectors.

the light i have above is also ard 400 lumens

woh!, i missed the outing..... anymore outings?

as long as weather holds up, McRitchie would be good! ;p

I thought you suggested Sentosa?

My thought is MacRitchie after that we can go to Adam Rd hawker center or Thomson area for supper. ;p

Hmm......$100.00 and AA batts

ok, here are my recommendations:

a) Fenix L1D (1XAA), L2D (2xAA)

b) Jetbeam-I Pro (2xAA)

c) Fenix TK20 (2xAA) - if you like an incandescent style yellowish beam light

For AA batts, can easily find quite a lot of good brands all depending on your kind of usage. To name a few, Inova, Electrolumens, Princeton Tech, Streamlight, Underwater Kenetics (UK), Gerber, ... they can be bought at various online stores (go google them). There is a shop at selegie that carry some of these brands, but I find their mark up is really stupendous. Your choice.
