Does anyone know whether we can override the flash sync speed in aperture priority mode?

I notice the shutter speed range only from 1/60 to 1/125 in aperture priority when the flash is on. Can i overide the 1/60?
the reason why i want to override is because i can't do TTL flash in manual mode.

Or anyone has a way to go around this problem? ie TTL flash with slow shutter.

Thanks in advance!

u means u triyng to use 1/60 and slower yet with TTL ? yes you can, TTL means when there is enough light throw back to the camera, the flash will cut off.

thanks for your reply! erm...i still don't geddit...

from wat i understand..

when i use camera in manual mode, flash goes manual (no TTL as explain in the manual)

when i use camera in aperture priority, flash goes TTL, but can't go slower than 1/60s

so how exactly i do slow shutter with TTL flash? "yes" means can override?

are u using the built in flash or hot shoe flash? wat is the model of your hot shoe flash?

You may have misunderstood the manual. The flash remains in TTL regardless of the camera's mode. You can only set the flash to manual setting for an external flash unit.

1. Use manual mode.

2. Use slow sync. However, I find that it chooses really slow shutter speed, like 1/4 or 1/15, that makes it hard to handhold.

pai seh...was talking about external. Me using Vivitar 729

so it is TTL all the way, no matter wat mode the camera is in lah?

one more qn, how to find out/confirm the flash is working TTL?
