Fisherman in Yunnan

Hi,

Taken at one of the islands on the Erhai Lake in Yunnan, China.

Nikon FE with Tamron SP 35-70mm f/3.5. Aperture Priority, exposure unrecorded.

Film: Fuji NPC160. Image is cropped slightly from original.

Think the rather bright foreground of the nets has fooled the centre weighted meter....

The metering and exposure were fine. Otherwise, the details of dark green sea would be lost if further step down. That would make the picture less interesting. However, IMHO re-position yourself slightly to your left and move in slightly closer and a slight zoom in to crop out the rocks (from bottom left to the middle) while preserving the tip of the boat would give the overall picture a better impact.
