First trip to Fraser's Hill

may i check how much did u cropped for these images?
i wanted to make a rough gauge on the type of lens to be used.
if these images were not cropped, then i really think 300-400mm is good enough.

Hi Eric,

I didn't crop much for these images. These images were about 80-95% of their original files. Yes I think 300-400 on a crop sensor body should suffice :)

Love it, nice shots :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I see.
This is really a birders heaven to be able to get so close to these nice birds.

I've never been to Fraser's Hill and hope to go some day to shoot the Red Bearded Bee Eater. Did you see it?
Nice shot, no. 1 is my fav :)
The shots you took seemed like it was just in your back yard!

Hi Weiwu,

Have been trying to get a travel package to go to Frasers Hill with a guide but Google couldn't help me!

Hope you could recommend some agency? If not share with us how did you get there?

You may ask why a guide. We want to go straight to the places of interest cos we cannot have too many days there!

Thanks & Regards,
Ed

Sorry for kaypoh. I don't know any guide in Malaysia but Google found this: Go birdwatching with a Birdingpal from Malaysia.

Also, please note that we are in the "dry" season for the entire South-east Asia with respect to birding - so if you go now, you may need to moderate your expectations. Things won't improve till November.

Hello UncleFai,

Many thanks and grateful for your trouble searching for BirdingPal website for us which has several guides on the lists. Will be contacting one of them to get more details for the trip.

Rgds,
Ed
