ditto that. and "err" shows up on the viewfinder. you have to switch the camera off and on then all will be well. strange, started happening recently after i started leaving my battery and/or cf card in the camera. then out of frustration i took everything out before dry-cabbing it but still the same.

no idea what the problem is but its intermittent. i hope we haven't fried anything... :dunno:

:bsmilie:

No problem on my KM 5D. There is always a battery and CF card in the camera.

Hope you can find out the reason behind your problem. :)

can do service...?
No pending for sony take over ka?

My 2nd hand A200, occassionally after shoot it displays a "Processing" and a progress bar,
for five seconds the progress bar moves very slowly, then finish. Other times, it's fine.

this one... is it because you have noise reduction on, and you took a shot at shutter speed of 1 second or slower? for exposure 1 second and up, the camera takes a second "dark frame" after the shot, and does noise reduction based on that. that's why the "processing" message.

Oh i see, i thought it was a flaw or what. Thank you for the explanation. :)

I was able to get back my cam in five days. It can be service.

My started first with a first shot that looks like this. Then it is now purely the blank screen and frozen camera until on/off. Dunno if you guys get this before...

Camera seems to be working but just feel a bit funny  . There are also some threads over a dpreview on this.

Blank screen? No such problem for me. But I do have problems occasionally with extreme blues. Especially for landscapes. Blues will become purple, purple becomes blue.

what cf card you using. me 7d always kena when using silicon somthing... changed to kingston and no hanging..

no such problems with my dynax 5d....touch wood haha

My shots tend to be on the warm side no matter how I white balance. Does puching the colour saturation to +1 have anything to do with this?

Prolly? My color saturation & sharpness always +1.

Maybe its time to lower the overkill.

I have mentioned it in the below thread before,
Questions? RAW & WB
But it seem to happen in others brand camera as well, just a matter of how severe it is. The cameras doesn't seem to handle the WB very well  .
So now when I know the environment lighting is tricky (yellowish, sunset etc) I shoot RAW and adjust through RAW conversion later.

what priority are you using? i hope you didn't set it to "sunset" mode and forgot to turn it back :bsmilie: i can laugh now, but i've done that before... :embrass:
