First lens to get?

Yeah~ After countless of PM to fengwei =P Tks alot!

Now I've added Tamron 90mm and Vivitar 28mm (manual) to my collection =P

funny thing is, its not what the first lens is, is rather whats the next lens to get :bsmilie:

it depends on what you shoot, and which perspectives you are more comfortable with.

if you like the kit lens range, sigma 17-70, tamron 18-50, all these are good lenses.

u muz be very free...i see u change ur avatar at least twice :bsmilie:...how nice being a student...how i wish im 10 yrs younger... so u sat free or not ? able to go the the museum ?

ahaha, yes, i will be going.. you guys settle the time, i am quite free, just have to go by about 5 pm.

If you decide to go with primes, then the must-have lens is the DA21mm.
I've hardly used by 18-50 now since I got it. its wide enough for general use (no need to step back to take a shot like for the 50mmf/1.4) and its so small and light it feels like my old panasonic FZ8 P&S! For those special moments, I switch to the DA40mm which is an even sharper performer but most of the time now its the 21mm in my k-mount.
Anxiously waiting for "another" family member to join in the other 2 now...:sweat:
