Shall we have some friendly competition? Each CanonGraphers can participate in any of the above themes but can only submit ONE best picture for the day for each theme. After which, all of us will select the best photo for each theme for the day.

There are no prizes, just do it in the name of fun and fellowship for CanonGraphers.

Anyone can bring down a notebook?

Can, lah! Digital, film or just eyes doesn't matter -- come along to learn from others and meet other CanonGraphers. The "contest" is just for fun (i.e. no prizes) so that we can cheer for the best ones.

We'll be more and willing to see your prints at the next CanonGraphers meeting.

Annoucement :

I would also propose that we have a 'Lens Testing' session after everyone has finished his/her photoshoot.

We would gather at a place to test out all the lenses that we have on that day. Many of us are curious about each lens contrast, color, CA, sharpness. So this is a good opportunity to make use of whatever we have since I have yet heard anything from Canon Marketing regarding the loaning of the lenses for this outing.

Please remember to bring a CF card along to capture these photos so that you can download them into your PCs/Notebooks when you are back home.

So far we have the following lenses for testing.

1) EF 28-70mm f2.8L USM
2) EF 28-135mm f3.5-4.5 IS USM
3) EF 100-400mm f4.5-5.6L IS USM
4) EF 100mm f2.8 Macro USM

Guys, can you indicate the lens(es) that you are bringing on that day so that we can consolidate the types of lens that we have for testing.
