Nice series & don't look like 1st time.

Not bad for a starter. From what I see, you already have got the basics of macro shooting ;). Now, you just need to be more careful on your flash as I see quite a number of harsh lightings and sharp-casted shadows.

Shoot more and practice more, ya :).

Thanks for the comment. I was using built-in flash, just wondering do I really need to get a external speedlight and diffuser? What kind of set-up needed?

Somemore, i was taken these photos around 12pm to 2pm, is it affeted the shadow as well?

Newbie, too many queries:embrass:

You got a nice tortoise beetle shot, look like a watermelon. Keep shooting

these doesn't looks like 1st attempt too, very nice collections.:)

Very nice.
What lens are you using?

I have seen people use a thick plastic sheet
above lens barrel as diffuser.
You can use the 1.5L milk bottle and cut
rectangle sheet, with a semi-circle to fit your
lens. Secure with rubber-band
around underside of the lens.
(Make sense?)

I'm using D90 with 105mm macrof/2.8G.
Yup, i saw some from internet teaching people to DIY the diffuser, will try it out later on.

Meaning to say i need to get a external sppelight?
