Canon only released the firmware gloablly today.
Wonder what stopped them last week.

Did anyone read the guide for the update ?
I noticed one funny error
*Please the firmware file in the root directory of the CF card. If the firmware is placed in the subfolder of the CF card, the EOS-1D Mark II will not see it.

Now THAT is what I call an upgrade, install the firmware for the 20D and automagically upgrade to an EOS-1D Mark II. ;p

Please be careful folks, some people ended up with a dead camera due to failed upgrades.
