Very nice leh! Non-smoky, how come ar? Got post-process???

Nope, no processing required. As said above, the smoke was blowing inland, towards Esplanade Bridge, so those on this side of the fireworks generally got better pictures. Didn't regret trekking all the way in last night.:bsmilie:

Is the Nikon 18-70 lens wide enough to take pics from Benjamin Sheares Bridges?

It depends what sort of composition you want to achieve. As shooting from B.S.B., is always better to have a 12-24mm or 10-20mm to tag along with you in case not wide enough. Do also take note of perspective distortion it will give you at the very wide focal range, that's all.:)
Have fun shooting & learning here & anywhere else.:)

Beautifully shot at 1/2 sec exposure leh, while other would normally do a 2 - 5 seconds... i like the 1st pic, Red to the core!

Hehe.. can't have a 2-5 sec exposure, got an unsteady hand, can't hold the camera that much longer. Plus with all that people moving around me, I cant get a steady shot. Thanks for the comments ...

Here are a few examples of my takes yesterday.

May I know what aperture settings, shutter speed & ISO settings to achieve such good fireworks shot you have here? Many thanks in advance.:)

I PS all the smokes away...so don't worry about smokes...not big deal...check my pics you know.

Hi, nice framing. Noticed the distortion. Can let us know which lens was used?

The Tokina 12-24m...The distortion is caused by the lifting...common.
