I wish I had my photo to show... I'm using film but no scanner .. so ...
I was at Esplanade bridge to take the fireworks.
The results were somewhat ok except for 1 problem. Something quite similar to the
pic quoted. The sides are too dark (mine at darker than shown in the pic). The fireworks were nice but the sides of the pic spoiled the whole thing.

Any reason why? Is it becos of the street lights? I thought they were ok.
Or is the exposure not long enough?? :dunno:

Sorry I do not have my pics to show ... :embrass:

Go there on next tuesday and witness it urself! Bravo!
I'm handling a PnS among the DSLR, so paiseh.

Eh? r u that guy?!!? heeeee noticed 1 or 2 guy with PnS ....
anyway, I did not have DSLR. I used my SLR and my canon ixus as well. KS man!!

It was "fun" waiting for 2 hrs on the bridge ... my knees got tired so had to sit on the ground... :bsmilie:

I was thinking maybe I should join the outings next time ... instead of going there "alone".

The guys you saw confirm not me, I was at Benjamine Shears Bridge instead. Hahahaha..
I reached the bridge at 4pm lor, then was waiting alone for hours, worst then you. The afternoon sun shining someore. :bsmilie: but i had a great time shooting sunset of Esplanded, but then, 5 minutes before show starts, my main batt and spare batts went dead.

Luckily Static met up with me at 7pm and he brought spare batteries that saved me.

I'm going back on tuesday, to a better location after seeing so many photos here. If you interested in joining then PM me lor, i think Static should be joining me also. :)

Here are a few examples of my takes yesterday.

wow photographique... u got a very wide angle lens and is an advantage to shoot at sheares bridge!

#1: f16, 8 sec
#2: f5.6, 10 sec

#1 maybe a bit over, could have stopped down the aperture, but didn't turn out too bad. Maybe I'll try a little PS later.
#2 was exposed for the bridge, not the fireworks.

Any shots from you?

Hi Fireframe, below are some of my shoots.... not a good location, arrived in Marina at 8:40PM, caught by the traffic jam from Pasir Ris Wild Wild Wet Singapore World Bikini Finals.

I was along Marina Promanade, just under the Shares Bridge.

Tips? hmmmm.... well, am not that experts in Fireworks, i just do some research in the net and try few combinations, playing around with my A and S on my cam dial.

had some few links, hope this may help.
