Mozilla is the suite that has mail, browser etc and it's the open source version of Netscape communicator suite.
Firefox is using same code of mozilla but only browser, Thunderbird is the mail. I have use all and mozilla is more stable then firefox dun ask me why. Maybe you like to try and see how.
