There's quite a handful to choose from for film, Bessa R2/3/4A, M7, Zeiss Ikon, Minolta CLE, Hexar RF....

i meant fixed lens AE RF. since dinechua wanted to dabble in RF, i thought recommending a fixed lens one would let him try out if its suitable etc.
but hahah i'm like blind leading the blind. my first RF still havent arrived from evilbay, wanna give advice to others.
but yeah i just thought a fixed lens RF would be a good way to dabble in RF, since its relatively cheap compared to having to get interchangeable lens RF.

I just got my new toy shipped on Priority Mail, International by USPS, should be 6-10 business days, not sure accurate of not.......
Yea... first class is like that... On average about 3 weeks so any day now. BTW, do consider comgateway or vpostusa next time. If you have a citi card, you can try borderlinx. In general a lot faster and just maybe a bit more.
Priority is pretty much about 1-2 weeks. Express is just a bit faster. I've got some stuff coming in too.
I would generally ship usps priority (at least) for bodies & lenses while using usps first class for other misc accessories like filters, adaptors, books etc.
Oh, i do agree their classification could be better, afterall, first class shipping isn't really "first class" in timing terms!

Haha if i were to ship priority/express, shipping will cost more than my item. Especially since i dont buy big ticket items. Haha.

guess what came in the mail when i got home?
pardon the bad quality pics taken with iphone in bad light, but everything looks good and clear. just need to replace the seals. VF abit dim too.
gonna go get batteries to test with. just 4X LR44 for now.

Congratulations! I know the feeling when the long awaited package arrives (usually long after we've given up hope getting it quickly). Then you come home and lo and behold it's there waiting for your grubby paws to rip apart the packing to see if all those sleepless night have been worth it, not forgetting if the money you've spent was worth it or did you just throw away a kings ransom.
Hope you get the seals replaced ASAP so you can put a roll through it!:bsmilie::bsmilie::bsmilie:

ho boy!
i just realised the camera's shutter is stuck. and i already left feedback that everything works fine. such a dumbass kicking myself now. i heard a click everytime i **** the shutter, but it doesnt open or close, with or without battery. dangit. feel so so so stupid. hope i can get it fixed for a reasonable price.

The canonets not mine. Its his im just molesting it for awhile. Need to get those looked at too. Next week?
Oh yeah the seller agreed to a partial refund. 60%. Can lah. Not pushing the issue.
skali he sell again and again and again, he sure earn one hahahah, sad to hear your story man, keep an eye out, I see Yashica pop out quite often in the bns forum
