yeah, now that you mention it, the white one is tighter than i noticed. have a looser one i think. but not much.

the orchid... was part of a row of them. had to move in really close to simplify. but still messy. hai.

thanks for the pointers :) ok last two shots from me, no more already...

btw, the colours in your pix very "fierce"... is it flash or post-process or camera settings?

This is nice, especially with the bokeh.

"fierce" colour which one? I do increase most saturation during conversion from raw. I did use flash for the Lizard and DF.
with flash

without flash

hm. not sure how to describe. the part that strikes me most is the greens in the moth and the lizard picture. the saturation and contrast is very strong. the moth (no flash) image quality also looks a bit degraded... was it shot at high iso?

I see, that have nothing to do with post process, the shots themselve are like that colour/contrast. But I did further enhance the contrast out a bit more during RAW conversion (I like colourful, high contrast photo, but some have complained that I overdo it in Ready, Light, Action forum before, so now I have tone down a bit  )

So I think it's contributed by the lighting.

The Moth one is with high ISO 1600 due to without flash, and the image is not very sharp due to a bit of shake also.

Just some fo my pic taken during the outing.....not very good, DOF issue, handshake etc.
