FHM Model 2010

hi... what lense/ settings were u using during the catwalk? thanks

i feel #2 (maia lookalike-thin version), #9 (krislynn) and #14 stands out more.
this is still made in singapore

com'on...these are young girls working hard to look pretty. Let's appreciate them for who they are. I don't think any of us guys would dare to bare our midrift and do a walk for others to scrutinize. BTW, are we supposed to critic the photo or the girls? :)

i second this... :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Is this photoshopped cause it looks like the liquify was done a little too much?

no offence to the photograhper at all but 7,8,10,11,12 is totally cmi.. and for FHM! standards must be going down bro.. WAY DOWN!

First thing, are you judging those overseas FHM girls from the magazine covers or seeing them in person? ;)

That means Singapore photographer cannot make it or FHM overseas models are really that good? But to my next point...

... while I agree we should appreciate the young girls working hard to look pretty, there should be a certain minimal standard else it wouldn't be a beauty pagent already. If I wanted to see Ms Library or Ms Best Attitude or Ms Science 2010, then I think the midrift in question would not be an issue.

My 2c worth but I think Ms-whatever should at least have standard enough that if I bring my compact there, I will still be able to get some decent photos, and not the kind that will need Portraits section section guys to PP the photos until they look like XMM.

Then again, I've been pretty impressed with this makeup artiste.

You are absolutely right there are alot of 'beauty experts' among the
photographic fraternity here.

We are no experts but where's the beauty? ............:bsmilie:

If the sponsors would only throw in more prize money for the event ........... then perhaps .........

Juz that 瞭望星空,百里无云。。 :bsmilie:

ok. I am not trying to be an angel. If it is Ris Low, I may have a word to say. But let's not kill the enthusiam of beauty queen wannabes. We need more girls to take the stage to widen the pool of talents. You only have a Maradona after a century of football. No one has stirred the world the way he did with his football. It may take a longer time for our Ms beauty queen to appear. The irony is that when she does appear, she will be out of most local guys' league. :)

Participation in any contest or pageant may not be due to the prize money but it
could be part of the fact that the young ladies sincerely trying to get exposure
and gain experience by facing large audiences and the same time a shot at the title .It's not easy going on stage wearing
bikinis and being scrutinised relentlessly by oogling eyes and flashing light bulbs.Do we
ask ourselves will I be able to do it if I am in their shoes ? It takes courage.

I've been covering pageants for the past 7 years and have had the chance to experience
backsatge anxiety and comaradeship among the ladies. No one is perfect but the one
most important thing is TRY. So do spare the ladies.

ya man, spare the gals . to those who luv to criticise, if u so gd , go and take part lah !

from another POV, criticizing by CS can also be good training mah.. to prepare them for the harsh realities of bigger stage.. and build up their courage and self confidence ;)
