what would be the insurance premium (b4 NCD) and excess be on a 600k car . ..

Driver is a rich man's son, and as long as he is not injured, that's ok la. Next week he will get a new car ... insurance and his dad will settle the bill.
the front part and those wheels still can recycle leh ....

Well there are not many guys, if any, who bought a F at this age and so can be safely deduce that he must be the son of a rich man. And usually for such "accidental" fire, the insurance co will settle the bill.... and usually the rich, young guy will get another car soon.

and please, dont stereotype/discriminate against female drivers, especially in the case IF the female driver drives a better car then you do.

Sadly to say, most of the time I have more problems with female drivers and gangster cabby. ALMOST all the time when a vehicle following behind me trying to blind me with high beam on, the driver is a female...

i've always preached the importance of having a extinguisher in the car.
most of the time, it's oftens hits deaf-ear.

i mount my dslr on a fire extinguisher.

you never know when it might catch fire.

seriously, ought to keep a fire extinguisher at home. the small one in home-fix. best is powder type for ABC.

More likely he did not fully release the hand brake so friction build up when he keep driving it.

That's exactly my first thoughts on the matter.
ferrari being such a powerful car, one might not realise
the handbrake is on especially if you are not used to
the car.
