Selling a seldom used Pentax DA 18-250/3.5-6.3 lens. Bought in Jan 2008. It's in mint to new condition, only some minor marks on the hood. Comes w/ box, hood, both caps. Selling due to lack of usage.

Asking for $730 only. Consider it's sold for nearly or over 1k in local stores, this is a very reasonable price.

The lens is very sharp through out the whole focal range even wide open, very good for general walkabout or travel. You can find many good reviews and sample photos by this lens.

I've tested the lens myself, and I can say that this lens can easily replace the dual kit (18-55+50-200) w/o any problem, and you don't need to worry about changing lenses or dust gets onto the sensor...

Yup, it's a sharp lens, alot better than those 18-200 ones including the Nikon 18-200VR . The Sigma (or Tamron) 70300 is know to be pretty soft from 200m and above, but its 1:2 macro feature is pretty fun to use

Yes, it's a very sharp lens. One of those few lenses that I'm very confident to use wide open

Well, if you are interested in the DA*1650, I have that one too. I can keep either one actually ... I might just keep this one and sell the DA*1650 instead :think: Can't keep both that's for sure. Still got DA14, DA21 and M20 which are all very under utilized :cry:

I'm still keeping mine for holidays...just used it in Malaysian last weekend as my only lens there...
