If it gives you a peace of mind then do it. More importantly don't do it and feel uncomfortable. You ultimately is going to live there.

Fengshui is also common sense.

I remember spending like 2k+ after buying all the necessary "accessories"... Many years ago.
But most of the time, the outside surrounding fengshui is even more important before it is built.
No hospital, police, fire station, tomb, temple, etc
