Willing to teach the very very very basic stuff, but more advanced stuff I am not good enough. Am thinking of another dinner meet up to go over the basics for the newbies, instead of teaching on the actual shooting day. What you all think? Is probably easier to concentrate and give more attention than when we are all spread out and busy shooting stuff.

i totally agree with you

it will be a day of shoot shoot shoot.

we will meet at the designated meeting point and spread out to shoot what catches your eye. we will meet after at another place within the location, rest and chat and move off for another of shoot.

...emm...I think on site coaching is more effective...maybe can get a senior to guide 3-4 newbies?

Just for clarification, all I'm volunteering to teach is how to set camera manually for different lighting conditions and basic composition. Ie. I'll be teaching how to judge what is a good setting for themselves. I won't be going "use x setting for this particular pic" because I think this doesn't teach anything. Also won't be saying "shoot here" "shoot there" etc since we all got different equipment and tastes to what makes a nice photo.

Sorrylah! I hv suggested to start earlier :devil: cos lighting quality is better (especially for micro shooting) and not so hot.

I could share my experience for those interested in micro shooting.
