I am female
The idea is to learn along with someone, especially when you dont want to be part of a big group and be able to share your tips and learn from a fellow photographer..

Leave the girls alone... let them explore and learn together.

Perhaps they feel better that way.

Besides, you have to agree that there are far too few ladies in this hobby. I've seen some of the shots from the female CS group. Quite creative and nice.
