u wc too much... the aro eyes got abit cloudy.
Add more antichromine or increase interval days or store the water first.
what have WC too much got to do with cloudy eyes? cloudy eyes is due to pH issue.
i tot is due to chlorine?
thanks. so do you age the water + antichromine before wc?chlorine is chlorine burn. not cloudy eye.n chlorine will kill our beloved fishes if not properly dealt with. usually cloudy eye is due to pH issue. some could b due to bacterial infection on the eye.
n now is more of chloramine instead of chlorine being added in our water.
the fish keeping hobby is getting harder n harder cos of the large amount of chemicals being added into our water. this is an on going problem ever since new water was introduced into our tap water.![]()
A very beautiful HBRTG nicely captured by your great photo skill.
Btw, try to feed more to your arowana to build the mass and broadness of the boby as well.
u changed the whole background? nice HB.
Wa ur pic really vry . Tried several times but still CMI saizgot any more tips or anything to take note of in and out of the tank?
thanks. so do you age the water + antichromine before wc?

To threadstarter.
Your fish is very tokkong ... at first i even have the impression that it is a goldie rather than RTG. So where did you buy from, how much, and what size?
In aro forum also hardly see such nice photos of such nice aro... thanks for sharing.
i think u must have a hard time pasting that oyama sticker.but looks alot better than that fanciful bg.

Haha, you're right. It's a 5 ft tank, took me more than an hour.![]()
Nice HBRTG.
Are you sure it's only 14"? Sometimes, our gauging is quite off and it's larger than it looks. Best is to put a measuring tape against the glass.
If your aro is 4 yrs old and really only 14", it is likely undernourished. Most aros would hit 12" when they are 1 yr old if properly fed.
Most 4yr old RTGs and Reds should be near 18-24".
A sign of undernourishment would be large eyes in proportion to the head
Thanks, I  my aro. My bad, indeed it is still around 15". Shall update its growth here.
This is my 4th aro and intend to keep it for the longest time.![]()
what r the species of the rest?
1st 2 aros were RTG and 3rd piece a red.
I still have a photo of my red. This was taken around 2001.
