And that..... in a nutshell, is the main problem with Facebook IPO!
Yes, it has many millions of users, but I bet you that less than 10% of those users have ever clicked on the ads, and less than 1% will click on the ads regularly.
It's very unlike Google, where the ads are relevant to what you are looking for, so there's a high chance you'll click on them.
On FB, people focus on the main column, and just auto filter out the ads.
I am an FB user too, and I log in every day.
I am also the same as you, never ever clicked on the ads before, and probably never ever will.
