Favourite Film that u use.

For B&W - Ilford Delta 100 is my favourite general daytime film,
(the tonal range is very good)
Ilford PanF 50 for shots where detail is important.
Kodak T-Max for night shots, indoor or poor lighting

For Colour - I mainly shoot slides Velvia 50 (very nice colours),
I find Velvia 100 is just not the same as Velvia 50 (colour differences)
Kodak Portra VC / NC - i use sparingly

B&W: Kodak Tri-X 400 and Ilford HP5+.
Color: Mostly Kodak made especially Ektar and Fuji Pro 160S.

I had experience with Agfa 100 and 200, I'm not sure if it's my camera or the film or the lab that developed it but there isn't much sharpness. Tend to be more lo-fi but nice saturations.

For B&W, I like Tri-x or Tmax 400 shot at ISO 320. For colour, I used to like Fuji Pro 400h, but now I love using Kodak Ektar exposed at ISO 50.

Hi, for me HP5+ and Neopan 1600 (while the stock in the fridge last). Will be testing Rollei RPX400 soon when it arrives in the mail.

I am glad tri-x price went up. If not i would not have bothered looking for alternatives.
Now i like hp5+... it reminds me why i went with film. It looks older, grittier than tri-x which i like.

I am still experimenting with color atm. But canoscan has been giving me very dirty colors that i need to correct frequently.
Fujicolor 800 xtra seem like a nice negative. For slide i think provia 400 is very good quality with balance in environment and skintone yet retaining good satuaration.

Me old school, all Velvia 50 some push to 100. But once in a while Provia 100 push to 200 sometimes 400.

Agfa APX 100 is beautiful. Sharp and subtle...

Tri-X is really nice but could not get the stock when I was last back in Singapore, so switched to Ilford Delta 400 & T-Max instead.

shooting B /W so far, i have tried tri-x, delta 400 and hp5.
HP5 is my perenial favorite

hi,

i use the following regularly:

35mm format,

iso 100: Arista Premium 100 (aka Plus X) and Legacy Pro 100 (aka Acros 100)
iso 400: mainly Legacy Pro 400 (Neopan 400), and about 6 rolls of tri-x left

120 format,

iso 100: dwindling supply of acros 100.
iso 400: Tmax 400 and Ultrafine Extreme

i have about 30 rolls of Ultrafine Plus 100, I hate it as it doesn't like to be developed in room temp water.
Anyone want to help me get rid of it ?

i also have 100ft XP-2 and 400 (!) ft of Double-X movie film in 35mm format.
