33. Family shot. One of the very few....

There are some question about the technical details of the shots.

Most of the shots are shot using the 70-200mm or 14-24mm.

Example shot 1 is at 70mm and shot 2 is cropped so maybe 90mm. I usually shoot some wide open at f2.8 and if the background is really nice, some at f8 like pic 2.

There is not much digital edit done for pic 1 other than normal curves adjustment.

Pic 2 I had a masked vibrance layer to achieve the "old" look of the buildings without affecting the colors of the people.

Pic 3 is shot at 140mm f2.8. I like to shoot full body shots using 140mm but you have to stand far away. At f2.8, the background is blurred enough for the subject to really pop out but still stay recognizable.

For me, I find that 50mm lens is the HARDEST to use. Most of my shots are either ultra wide whereby you have to get real close or strong tele where you have to stay far away. The fact that you are closer/farther than "normal" makes the picture interesting.

Very nice series of pics! My only nit pick is that you have been too busy behind the camera that I dun see much of you inside the pics! Do include urself in the future pics ya? Im sure the they will all tur out to be even better!!

thanks for all the comments.

I did not bring a tripod this time round. Too lazy and tiring to carry/setup a tripod.
