Hi Falcon... something to consult you.. how do you approach those butterflies with your macro lens? I couldn't even walk nearer without them flying off -_-"...

Luck plays an important part. Some butterflies are not as sensitive and can tolerate photographers more than others. Usually I will try to compose and take a few shots from a distance. With the camera in position, I will then slowly take a step or two closer and take another snap. If I get lucky, I can continue to do so till I get a close enough shot. Try not to bring your camera to your face n compose your shot only when you get near it as your movement will alert the butterflies. Hope this helps. :)
