I manage to get some pics from a seller selling fake MS DUO PRO. Just looking at the packaging you can't really tell at all. Cause there's even a fake hologram sticker.

I think the real ones are fused all along the edge. I'd need to stop by a sonystyle to be sure.

Let us know... there was an article online that stated that the difference was so minimal that even SONY people can't always tell the difference without a machine to check it... cos the MS casing is made differently at different times...

There are different grades to fake cards as well, not all can be checked through a psp. I actually have 2 fakes one 2gb and an 8 gb one, the 2 gb one has been with me for about 2 - 3 yrs no problems so far. I've had experienced one which was built really lousy, my sister got it from china, compared to my fakes it was lighter and had a cheap feel to the plastic.
What do you mean by the above statement? Are you saying that there are fake cards that can pass the MagicGate test? 'Coz that's how the PSP identifies fake cards.

A difference I found between the Genuine & the fake is
The Genuine piece I bought from Sony Style comes with a Warranty Document
(a piece of folded paper found in packaging) with a Column catered for Dealer Stamp & it also indicate 5 years warranty period.
Whereas the fake one only comes only the user manual & a plastic sleeve.

But there are fakes which fake everything down to the last detail... I think only the PSP can do the Magic Gate check to determine if these are genuine or not... what about earlier SONY MS which are not Magic Gate type? Some shops may hold old stocks...

Haha, yeps the 4GB is the genuine 1. While the 2GB is fake. Can see that the Wordings are printed on a sticker then pasted on. The workmanship on the finishing are also quite poor.

Can we use "CE" wording for reference of Genuine card?
Although fake card but high speed card.
Is it really faster R/W speed? did you use for camera or gaming?

Not clear that it was a sticker... there are some genuine MS that have an outer casing with a joint border around the card...
