Fake FM500H battery on the market..

hi guys, saw someone selling batteries for NEX bodies in B&S, becareful ok.

there is no such thing as "cheap original"

I ordered 2 Original NP-FW50 + Charger on amazon for S$100, would'av been total S$120 + vpost

BUT

Cannot ship lithium Ion batteries (w/o equipment like laptop) out of the US.

WTF man. It's still stuck at vpost and the idiots can't post it back for me for a refund even though I want to pay them because 'we don't provide that service'.

better be safe than sorry, fake batteries can damage your laptop or camera, those wrong voltages can cause malfunction to the electronic boards inside

i also kanna cheated buying for $40 2 months ago, never check properly as just got VG so need an additional batt.

just beware..... or if u need can just look at ebay.

dun use it, it will damage your camera body. rather get original 3rd party if u really short of budget.

3rd party battery with a proper brand is okay, what is bad is "unknown battery" printed with SONY brand and packaging on it by a "unknown company"

I've gotten one too, use less than 5 times and it's dead. A good lesson anyway, get the original ones next time.

I got the one with lighter grey from my a55 set purchase from Audio House and the black one from Internet. So which is real and which is not? My thought is that the grey is real and the black are fake but I am not sure.
