LOL. for the beach that is bro... the village is not so bad, as the buses got separated, and some just head for the beach direct... unlike the some of us, weaving in and out of local residents' houses... LOL

Actually I miss the beach totally on this village, bro, can I post my shots here too, don't want to start too many threads :)

think it's better for you to start your own thread.

Bro, I don't mind if you can do what I do, organize it with title and write ups with a good flow and a story to tell. I started this thread to explain the story behind the pictures, so viewers can understand about the life of the people and scenes we shot.

I know you have many great pictures, and have the story to tell behind as well. Just put a title, captions and number accordingly, like what I did. Thanks bro. Looking forward to it.

Ke Ga La Gi, Binh Thuan Province

3 hours by bus from HCM city, La Gi is a District-level town of Bình Thuận Province Southeast region of Vietnam and slightly northeast along the coast is Ke Ga Island, where the oldest light house of Vietnam is located. The area is also known as the "Vietnamese Riviera" due to its beautiful beaches and resorts and it connects all to the beaches of Phan Thiet a further 25km up along the coast. This is a beautiful area with beautiful beaches that are surrounded by fields of Dragon Fruit plantations. A must stop if you are on the way to Mui Ne from HCM city. You can find more information about Ke Ga Island and and Lighthouse HERE.

We stopped at Ke Ga La Gi, to catch the sunset at the coast with the Lighthouse as the backdrop. It was a beautiful sunset, and the tides and waves were strong, giving us a very dramatic scene. Some of you may have seen it posted on the main CB8 thread already... but here it is again, in a larger size.

We also stopped by a small port and fishing village prior to the sunset. Manual labor is still very much a part and parcel of the life in Vietnam. Life is hard, but as we see here again, people are happy and content.

Workers and tractor waiting for the boats to arrive.

This is how goods from the boats are unloaded... Workers will walk into the chest high water to the side of the boats. The crew will throw down bags of goods to these workers, who will then carry the sacks on their shoulders onto the waiting tractors/trucks.

Similar to what we saw in Long Hai, basket boats will go out to the big boats to ferry crew and passengers to dry land

These guys are really proud of their basket boats, which is their source of income.

Fishing is still the main industry in Lagi for most of the locals here.

Life of the residents here are really spartan. Their homes are pretty much empty.

haha ok... maybe i haven explored malaysia enough :p i see the itinerary then decide hehe

Before you have a chance to read the itinerary, all the seats are grabbed and likely to be 2000% over subscribed.

Dennis, to make it clearer, I heard waiting list for this recent CB8 was more than 60 at least. And out of all those who applied to go, there was a selection process.
And we only really get to see the itinerary several weeks after we confirmed for the trip. That is how Crossing Bridges work.
