Whenever your FB session is expired. You will required to log in and system will prompt you to scanned your ID or driving license or others form of proof to confirm you are the actual owner of your account.

nope. sounds like a hoax or a phishing scam.

Many people had affected if the user name is pseudonymous.

Mine got locked up and I had several emails exchange with fb admin.

Careful on those message (or call etc) asking for any of your account details, personnel information etc.

Today in the morning and received a Facebook notification that "Facebook Security" shared one of my April 2015 post. It also asked me to reconfirm my account to avoid being blocked.

Almost believe in it as just woke up, mind still sleepy.
But some suspicion point.


It address me as "customer"?

The link address look weird.

How come Facebook shared my post to request me re-confirm my account? I believe they will send me a system message if really being reported.

That "Facebook Security" has only 1 like when I look at the profile. In the profile Timeline, it has also "shared" many other posts and requesting "customer" to re-confirm account.

that message is not from facebook.com but from cutt.us (see the link)

Yes the link is not from Facebook. Some may think it a short address.

The "scammer" created a facebook account "Facebook security", then it goes around sharing other user post and wrote a message saying it violated term of service.
(if search "Facebook Security", there few more other fake account.

There is one "Facebook Security" which do not shared your post or send message to re-confirm account.
