....the Grey Heron way !

Had a last minute shooting opportunity with my buddy SK on Chinese New Year's eve , just before reunion dinner time. Very short window time for the low tide and partly due to the rush to get home for dinner.

For starters : A small little catfish as snacks.

Here comes the big plate of Yu Sheng.

Swing and Toss it around a few times for good luck all year round !

For even better luck, must swallow whole at one go.

Gong Xi Fa Cai to everyone in ClubSnap !
May the Year of the Bird (oops Monkey !) bring joy and happiness to everyone.

:D

That's what I call a very very fresh "Yu Sheng".
1st and 3rd shot are nice to me.

BTW Phil, what brand type of lens do you use? I found the color temp a tad cooler. This can be corrected by using a Skylight filter instead of UV filter, but it could just be your PS workflow.

Cheers

Thanks Vincent.

I'm using Sigma 120-300mm with UV filter on. Very hard to find a Skylight 105mm filter.

Was playing with PS on the colour temp and kind of like the cooler look, which was what i saw there.

Happy Lunar New Year to you and all at Clubsnap.

Hmmm.....very interesting Yu Sheng indeed.

Hope there will be more keepers in year of the Monkey. The start looks promising already. :D
