You cannot fully control the aperture and shutter speed values in manual mode for Fujifilm F series cameras.

The metering is still auto adjust. You can only do exposure compensate.
there's a photometry setting for A/S priority and manual though, centre/multi/average. Would I be wrong to presume this is metering? Not sure if they are one in the same but I am very much led to think so.

anyway i went to google a bit more...protama also has the non magnetic clip on kind right? you ordered yours from ebay ah? 60 over dollars?

*edit*just saw your hwz forum post haha...its ok..no need to reply twice...so ms colour sells both the wide-cum macro and the tele at around $50?

I am not sure about the non-magnetic clip type. I do not think there's place for you to clip onto the F31fd or F50fd anyway. Every dealer may have own their sources of such converters, and MS Color's happens to be proTama.

The price will not be far away from $50, but I may be outdated. Aunty Florence is just a call away to check.

Using the macro function of the converter add-on:

100% crop of 6.3MP from F31fd. :)
