Hi i bought my f31 a few day ago n tried taking a few pic. When i see the pics i was abit sad with the result. The object in the pic was blur when see in actual size. THe pic is not tht sharp as i saw with others posting.
I used ISO800 for the nite and 200 for day shoot and 6 MP. Is there something wrong with my cam? also when i half press the shutter button i can see a few dots on the LCD isit something wrong with the CCD?

might be a dead pixel? cos i have some dots too when i take some pix. but they dun appear when i downloaded them. so not a prob.
anyway your image blur might be due to handshake. but i have the same gripe about f31fd. dun quite like the results especially the images at high iso...colours tend to be watercoloury. the images posted here are sharp because they're resized. mine is not that sharp either. you can view some of my pix taken with the f31fd here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/nortynorty. some pix are not sharp...maybe not focused properly. :dunno:
despite all this, im still in love with it for its portability and at least better than some cameras at high iso settings.
what tripod are you using? if it is those cheap $20 ones, there might still be shake when you depress the shutter. as for dead pixel, i highly doubt it since you only say they appear apon focus/ :think:Hi. Thanks for the info. I did use a tripod when taking the day time pic. But it still came out as blury. Will I be able to exchange for a new cam if it is like what you all said is a dead pix?![]()

superb pictures,
Really impressed. I always find it odd to shoot strangers. How did you do it? i mean how to overcome the fear of "kena" whack or scolded by the "subjects"?:embrass:
