Seems both the F30 and F31 have this built in star filter effect for night shots. My friends were asking me if I put up a star filter for my nightshots with the F30, but I did not use any. The bright points all show up as six point stars. humm....

uh the star effect is partly due to the really small aperture (in relation to the sensor size) and long exposure. this happens on 35mm film cameras too if you stop down alot.

anyway here's an example of a printout (the picture on the wall) from the fuji f10...older model but goodie all the same.

Oh, thanks a lot. Learnt something today. So next time I can get the star effect with my SLR without needing to take out the star filter. :thumbsup:
