is it becos i shoot in in chrome mode or maybe that particular part over exposed?

No. It's the lens. I saw a lot of CA in the shots from zaxh81. For example:

If you'll notice, each of the little lights on the strings is NOT purple, but because of the CA they look purple.

Another great example is Chaosy's shots of the tree branches. This pic has a lot of purple fringing:
