F31d vs F30 - Is it worth the wait

Looks well exposed and low noise for ISO800, but some detail loss and doll off focus.

Btw is your cam made in Japan?

Made in China but feels solid especially the battery compartment door compared to Ixus 850IS.

mine also made in china, but I think shd be ok, my kodak V550 also made in china.
Except my panasonic FZ7 still made in japan.

I went to Alan Photo in Sim Lim Square on last Friday, and they have more than 20 pcs of F31 on the shelf. They quoted me S$580 with free 1G Byte of XD card ( GST included ).

hmmm $19 cheaper, sound good, does it come with case + extra batt + lcd protector and minitripod?
If the same free gift sound it's a good offer

Did anyone try register for the 2nd year warranty? The MS Color Uncle told me it's free leh. But the official webby doesn't have that model for registration yet.

f30 is special in a sense it takes very gd night shots/low light conditions...

outdoors wise...i think any other cam might be worth considering too

took a look at it at SITEX and the F31fd is made in china too. So in the end didnt buy
from there, went straight to MS color at AMK and got it at $599 plus freebies.
Fujifilm promo warranty 2 years !

btw, can't find MS color at SITEX although they are in the exhibitor listing, their booth
taken over by iRiver ??:dunno: :dunno:

hi i am new, i just want to know if F31fd comes with optical image stabilizer or not? i check some websites says it has and some websites says it does not.

Can the image be blur when we shot at high ISO low light condition if it does not have optical image stabilizer?

Besides the xD card and pouch, did they give you the mini tripod? MS Color is elling for $599. But with an extra mini tripod, 3rd party bat & screen protector. Basically I dont see i would need the extra bat, i rather they give me one more 1G xD card.
