MS selling at $585 for the F11 with some goodies

S3 - $2999

saw the fujifilm brochure at hardwarezone. s3pro $2999 with some freebies like 1GB hajiwara card, etc. I rather get it at $2550 from MScolor :) :)

I think I'll wait for the F30 instead.....

My friend got lobang for F11, S$460 nett. Just the camera & standard accessories w/o addition XD card.

Is this worth a catch?:D

If you factor in the card, price is slightly cheaper only. If price is a main concern, maybe you can try getting secondhand one.

I just missed a deal of $470 for full set plus 512MB used for less than 1 month. IMO, anything above that price, I rather pay a bit more for a brand new one already, not worth getting a used one for less than that bit of discount. Or you can wait for the upcoming F30 lor... ISO3200... dun pray pray.

I just bought the F11 at the IT show. $639 with the standard freebies. BTW, what is the market rate for the 1GB fujifilm xd card? The freebies are moderately useful. Got mini tripod, spare battery (useful) charger (useful).

$639 with the standard freebies? What are the standard freebies may I ask? Comes with a 1GB card huh? wow, sounds like a cool deal..

I think this is a good deal. For $50 or $60 topup, you can get a memory card upgrade, free charger and batt and card reader.

Think I should go down there instead of MScolor this weekend.

Thanks for sharing this, wind30.

ya what you think :)

of course not lah, just a normal cheapo case. Says finepix in front. But serves to protect your cam for scratches. The freebies not expensive ones but useful.

pretty good deal but a bit dissappointed with the high ISO performance of F11. Maybe I expect too much. ISO1600 is not useable but the natural light mode selects it sometime... now I shootin in aperture mode at ISO800 which is not that bad.

you have to compare the iso1600 performance against other p&s digicams, most of which do not even have 1600. obviously if you are expecting dslr iso1600 quality then you will be disappointed. :p

ya lar. I actually did a comparison shot with the s3pro... I just realise how far apart the P&S quality is. I think it given the price of some DSLR at 1k for pentax and KM5D, no point spending $700+ on a P&S unless you want something light.

Something to give to my wife on our travels so she no need to use the DSLR.

can i just ask, w.r.t the card-reader, what does 40-in-1 mean?
Can it read other cards like SD, CF, MMC, Sony Memory whatever cards as well? Any idea what's the standard price for such kinda card readers?
Cos I just got a quote from MS Color, similar package as to IT Show, but minus the charger and the card-reader..$599!
Stuck in another dilemma!

dunno how much but I guess should be around $15?? Does it come with spare battery and LCD protector? The charger is convenient as you can shoot using your cam while charging the spare battery which takes around 4 hours.

I don't get it, doesn't the F11 already come with 1 charger? Why need 2?

erm..i think bcos u can use the spare charger to charge the spare battery ma!! if not hv to charge via the camera...haha! :D

anyway, can anybody confirmed the package tt MS color is offering now?? $599 inclusive of?? thks!
