Dont mind anyone posting up their Natural light + flash picture?

Astin, exif in http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/lineup/f30/simage02.html shows that the flash is not fired.

Do you mean SCENE / Natural+flash mode? This mode shoots 2 images continuously without flash and with flash.

Grandfather and granddaughters, my neighbor.

Thanks but how about in dim lighting condition? My result with flash doesn't really reflect what Fujifilm claims. Background is quite dark.

I think to be fair to fuji's claim, try using another brand camera in dim lighting. i think the background will be even darker and the object in the flash range will be wash out.

May I ask how you make your pictures so sharp? What settings you usually used in the camera? Thanks!

Hmm.....My images really look "soft" compared to megaweb's. I think it is because I followed some camera review's advice and decreased exposure by -0.67 to -1 for daytime pics. Pics looked ok on the LCD, but turned out to be underexposed when viewed on my notenbook. I had to use the "fill light" function in Picassa and had to use a bit of saturation for the MRT shot.

Will experiment a bit more when I have the chance. :)

Some cat snapshots taken with the F30. Cats are very good models for testing lens sharpness. For me, they are also readily available and work for free unlike human models. :)

Wow! Such beauties! Cats are definitely better than dogs. My dogs are a bit camera-shy and aren't as photogenic. Also, I think my dogs are considerably more figety. :bsmilie:

Any more night shots by F30 ?
Thanks.

Some nightshots, I quite enjoy this little camera really, these are straight out of F30, photo #3 shows the infamous purple fringing, a small problem considering the overall clean image.
