Don't bother too much with equipments.... just make do with watever u have and adopt the shooting style accordingly.

Here's a shot with the Olympus E-P1 with its kit zoom lens:

i wonder if there is any filter to filter off the fences :p

just curious, if only have the option to bring 18-200 or 55-200, which is better. i think 18-200 is faster lens?

Use a compact camera and stick the lens out of the fence? ;p

Actually if you stand back enough and use a zoom lens like 300 or 400mm you can actually 'de-focus' the fence to become a blur darken broad line and can get most of the car in full view. Of course if you can get a Grandstand highest point you can clear the fence and shoot freely. Rdg the lens f2.8 is best but i dun hv so I use 55-200 cos it's light considering you'll be standing there holding the cam and shooting for at least 2-3 hrs. 'Chew suun'

Obviously the 55-200 is much better in this case....

Pan until the fence disappear....

Too bad there are no shops having the 20-400 f4 for rent. =(

Nx year, if I'm stil going, I'll book in advance but I guess you'l need a f/1.0 lens to capture F1:bsmilie:
