GIRO is suppose to a case of consumers providing convenience for organizations.. helping the companies save cost and run more efficiently.. And the organizations would provide some incentives for consumers in return for their kindness to sign up for GIRO (and make it convenient for the billing organizations to collect the money).

After that the banks will also start charging these organisations higher for GIRO since they know they will be passed on for the consumer can bear as convenience fees. Upward price spiral; just you wait![]()
