we have another person asking the exact same question in eye multiply site. this is the reply.

Usually, we release the films and CDs for collection sometime during the month when we have our public exhibition. That's when the books will also be ready to be launched.
We hold the films and CDs mainly for the purpose of reproducing them in prints and books, and also in case of digital faults during the process.
That's also the only period when we have voluntary help for distribution, collection, sales, talks, etc. Will most likely be August 2008, for Eye e City 2007.

basically, we are a bunch of dedicated volunteers organizing this event (organizers, facilitators, judges, helpers), from getting sponsorship, publicity, actual event, selection, judging, art work for book, essay, developing of film, printing the photo, printing the book, planning for exhibition, execution of the exhibition, returning the cds, negatives and eye books.

you may not be able to see are tons of work behind the scene, and being volunteers, we have real work commitment (have to feed ourselves 1st mah). so please understand why it is taking that long.

we have been requesting for volunteers in both cs and multiply site. please lend us your helping hand.

btw, we should be able inform participants whose work/s had been selected no later than march.
