extension tube query

1:1 means the size of the subject on film is exactly the same as the size of the real subject. ie, Life Size

1:2 means the size of the subject on film is 1/2 the size of the real subject. ie, 1/2 Life size

1:1.43 is some where between 1:1 and 1:2. or you can convert to decimal to get 0.7X magnification.

Same thing, I bought my C-AF mount @ S$90 from Nelson at konota.

It feels really plastic, you may like to get those metal ones if your lenses are huge.
