Forgot to ask: how'd the couple whose wedding you shot that for like the shot? and that i notice that you tend to take a photojournalist approach to your wedding shots...which is a great thing coz you get some much memories and emotion into the album for the couple.

anywayz, couples will allow me the artistic freedom to do what i do, and it's almost like... "i dun wanna know what you shot, surprise me."

and to some extent, they are pretty confident that they'll be pleasantly surprised. i'd like to think that way too. i dun only wanna surprise them, i wanna surprise myself (which is actually.. WAY harder!). :)

yes i do have an assistant with me most times. but it's not mandatory. :)

1.6?! :bigeyes: what lens were you using? did you overexpose the area close to the boy on purpose? The shot works on soooooo many levels i don't even know where to begin!

using afd 85/1.4.

i metered for the boy. the rest just turned out like that :) was great light in there.
