hehe no need to think so much... just notice things lor. this couple was walking away from the solemnisation venue, and u can see them talking and smiling to each other, only a matter of time they would kiss - or at least i hoped they would, and they did.

don't u do that to your gf/wife once in a while? :) (quick kiss while walking)

I like this one!

Personally, I like to see a bit more reflection on the road (tho a bit cliche lah).

reflection shots also have.. from the same day.. hehe. cliche, but nice! customers like it.

esp when they were kinda disappointed that it rained, i showed them the reflection shot and told them, now, if it didn't rain, we can't get this shot! so one good reason for the rain. and i'm sure they felt better after that. :)

that why people say if want to be a pro, important must have a pro mind..

JOhO, you set the standards!! As a relative newbie, could you tell me how you achieve the warm brown, but still detailed look in some snaps (ROM kiss on rainy day and the champaign fountain one)

The 1:2 ratio you shoot in is a wide lens? or cropped that way?

thanks

hi keshaxe, colours are largely post produced, and it's seriously a matter of taste and feel deciding on wat tones to use. do play around with selective hue and saturation changes. in other words, you don't always have to modify the whole image, just selected areas, like the trees, vs the couple, in the last shot i posted.

all images i shoot are in raw in a nikon dslr (standard 3:2 format) and all shapes and sizes displayed have been cropped. :) as for wide lens, it depends, u can still shoot with a long lens but stand very far away and the couple will still look small in the image. like the last shot was done with an 85mm.

hope this helps. :)
