Yr right ... I guess people who buy this lens know what they are doing and won't anyhow change their minds.

Nai Nai Ro-Ro!

I've read some fantastic things about the 17-35 ... so considering selling off and getting the Nikon if there isn't much price diff.

But the interface how???? can AF with your camera.

Actually it is a workhorse for many pro. The range is very nice, although many ppls is talking about 14-24 and 24-70.

I would go for 17-35 instead, because i wouldn't get 14-24 because it can't mount filter.
To me, 24-70 is just an expensive kit lens, I would prefer using a prime for that range, unless i'm doing AD wedding photography.

All manual.

When using that range, focusing is not a problem cos a bit off also can tahan ... and for WORK, I usually stop down to f/5.6 - f/8.

BUT I have to admit that if I'm going to do what I did at the foam thing, AF is crucial.

Delima delima ...

I am also seriously considering the Sigma 12-24 (the ONLY 3rd party UWA I can use! ARRRGHHH!) replacing my current lens since I tend to almost always use the wide end. Mabbie out of 1,000 shots, you see me using anything above 24mm for 10 or 20 shots.

Me start processing last sat shots.....

Central catchment area, i'm starting to collect forest damsel shots.

Saw 2 nos of Vestalis amethystina, but lighting was too challaging to secure a decent shots......

there are also Podolestes orientalis in that same area.
