mmm.......not very sure......

Btw, what type of usage do you intend for. In cropped sensor, it is 36-128mm.....

To be frank, it is more suitable for FX.

For landscape, it is not wide enough.....

For portrait, the bokeh CMI

For street, ok, but f/4 is slow..... and there are better, inexpensive option, like 35mmf/2, 50mmf1.8 and you already had a 80-200mmf2.8.

If you are thinking of a lens to replace your kit lens, get a tamron 17-50mmf2.8

The reason is

you had a 60mm and 80-200mm, means you already got a standard lens(60mm), a tele lens(200mm), macro lens, and 2 portrait lenses. And both are fast f2.8 lens.

If you add on a 17-50mmf2.8, then you had cover most of your needs, as this lens is a good walkabout, everyday use gathering and event lens.

Image.... 17-200mm and it is all fast f2.8.

actually i have a tamron 28-75 and 50 1.8, just tht the 24-85 seems to cover the tamron and micro and cheaper.

if you just want to have a collection of lens to cover wide field of photography and selling off your micro lens, go get the Tamron 17-50mm.

not point to get a sigma 24-85mm, trust me, if you don't like your 28-75, 24-85 will be the same. Unless you are using FF sensor and talking about 24-70f2.8 as a walkabout lens.
