Actually the price of used D80 is very attractive. Really can consider.

hahhaha....i nearly mob my D80 into IR 2 month ago.

Luckily i didn't do it, if not this 2 weeks i will be shooting IR cats and macro.

Quite unlikely... The low pass filters are getting better and better at preventing the IR rays from getting thru...

which is why a lot of the IR uses are still using the older series of D70 and D1's to Mod.
