Hmm .. contrast went up a bit after re-sizing and posting.
Not the mood Ro-Ro, how's the WB? Also if yr using an LCD, look at both peeks on the same level cos height placement difference will affect the wat a peekchure looks on screen.
Does re-worked kitteh look closer to what you think a tabby cat would look like under street lamp?

I prefer the colour of the top cat. Bottom cat looks too yellow. Top cat colour looks more natural. Even the background in the top photo looks nicer... more blue... bottom pic background looks too dark, altho cat is bright and nice. Top photo looks just a tad underexposed... maybe increase exposure in photoshop and adjust brightness/contrast a bit, the pic will be nice.
If u're talking about colour under street lamp, then bottom cat looks more like it since it looks yellow and street lamps are usually yellowish. But shouldn't we be going for the colour under natural light, which gives the true colour of the cat, i.e. brown looks brown, not yellow?

We were going for color correction accuracy in theesh exercise.
I guess also usually street lamps are kinda harsh, so the increased contrast (while more than original after resizing and posting online) works.
