Does anyone know how to make a TRANSPARENT background?
I need to etch out a few shots and need a completely transparent BG.
Please remember I eesh DI idiot (and using Photoshop 7) har when you explain. :sweat:
I found this explanation, but I'm a bit lost (esp the bold parts).
1. quick mask to select the shoe, delete background,
2. pen tool to trace the shoe, right click, make selection and inverse the selection. delete.
3. if your background is quite distinctly different from the shoe (colour), you can try the background eraser tool. press 'e' 2 times and delete your background.

Need the BG transparent so that can place the peek of the object on various BGs and not have a white box.
