When I was a kid...saw two hissing cats on a medium pipe going across a small canal. AFter a short spell of threats etc, one fell into the rushing water, screaching like hell as it was washed away. Poor cat. Also my friend's mom has a horrendous history with cats on her 12th floor flat. Many of them sooner or later fell off the balcony and died.
