Hey Denise, if you're looking up material on light, there's ONE particularly good book at the Nat library branches that's both very thorough, and quite easy to read. I'll try to look up the title and name of author for you.

I'll have to think about it a bit ... such things do not have absolute, not maggie-mee answers and besides, a lot of it is based on old philosophies and early studies of the sciences and you know how pervasive and convoluted culture and religion was back then.
